An Air Conditioning Installation Engineer is required to join the team, primarily working on commercial and industrial air conditioning installations.
The role will involve installing split, multi-split and VRV/VRF systems, completing pipework and containment to a high standard, commissioning systems correctly, and ensuring all work is carried out safely, professionally and in line with current regulations.
This position would suit an engineer who takes pride in their workmanship, enjoys delivering clean and tidy installations, and wants to be part of a company that values high standards on site.
Key responsibilities
- Install split, multi-split and VRV/VRF air conditioning systems
- Install, pressure test and prepare pipework for commissioning
- Install containment, including tray, trunking, brackets and supports
- Assist with wiring and control connections where required
- Commission systems and complete handover documentation
- Maintain clean, tidy and safe working environments
- Liaise professionally with clients, site contacts and project managers
- Maintain van stock, tools and equipment in good working order
- Ensure all work complies with F-Gas regulations and Health & Safety standards
Required experience and qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in air conditioning installation
- Valid F-Gas Category 1 certification
- Competent in pipework installation, brazing and pressure testing
- Ability to read drawings and installation schematics
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable
- Experience with manufacturers such as Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric and Fujitsu
- IPAF and/or PASMA certification
- City & Guilds Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Installing and Maintaining Refrigeration Systems, or equivalent
