About the role
We are seeking an Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join our team.
The role primarily focuses on the installation of commercial and industrial air conditioning systems, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
You will be responsible for installing split, multi-split, and VRV/VRF systems, completing pipework and containment, commissioning systems correctly, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Install split, multi-split, and VRV/VRF systems
- Install and pressure test pipework
- Install containment including tray, trunking, brackets, and supports
- Assist with wiring and control connections where required
- Commission systems and complete handover documentation
- Maintain clean and safe working environments
- Liaise professionally with clients and project managers on-site
- Maintain van stock, tools, and equipment in good working order
- Ensure compliance with F-Gas regulations and Health & Safety standards
Required experience and qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in air conditioning installation
- Valid F-Gas certification, Category 1 required
- Competent in pipework installation, brazing, and pressure testing
- Ability to read drawings and installation schematics
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Experience with manufacturers such as Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu
- IPAF and/or PASMA certification
- City & Guilds Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Installing and Maintaining Refrigeration Systems (6187-02)
